Our Beliefs
Love in Action DC is firmly rooted in the gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe God has loved and saved us through Jesus, and this grace moves us to love others through real and tangible action. We stand in the historic Christian faith and affirm the core truths expressed in the Apostles’ Creed.
Core BeliefsThe Gospel Changes Everything
We believe we are sinners in need of grace, and that we are saved by grace alone through faith in Jesus Christ. This good news is offered to all.
“For by grace you have been saved through faith… not a result of works.” (Ephesians 2:8–9)
“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” (Romans 10:13)
God's Word is Our Authority
We believe the Bible is the inerrant Word of God and our foundation for truth, shaping how we live, believe, and serve.
“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching…” (2 Timothy 3:16)
Faith Leads to Action
We believe true faith produces action as we abide in Christ, bearing fruit in how we love and serve others.
“Faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.” (James 2:17)

All People Are Made in God’s Image
We believe every person is made in the image of God and has inherent dignity and worth, and we are called to love and serve all people.
